Event Description:

The Washington Poison Center gives out thousands of Mr. Yuk stickers, magnets, and other health education materials every year.

What we'll be doing:

Volunteers will be counting & organizing current inventory (such as Mr. Yuk stickers & magnets) into smaller groupings to make them easier to distribute.

What you should know:

The Washington Poison Center is close to transit, plus parking is free in the lot surrounding the building. The building & office suite are wheelchair accessible.

Wear comfortable clothes that you can sit & move around in. Dinner will be provided by WAPC, so please let us know in your RSVP if you have any food allergies or dietary restrictions (e.g. vegetarian).

IMPORTANT: Please review the Visitor Confidentiality Statement form provided by Washington Poison Center. It helps to have this form filled out & signed ahead of time, but volunteers can fill this form out at WAPC if needed.

Where to Meet:

If driving, please park in the visitor parking lot to the west of WAPC's building (Northgate Executive Center I parking lot on the I-5 side). Meet in the reception area of Suite 100. The building doors should be unlocked, but please ring the doorbell if the door to Suite 100 is locked.
