Kate Martin - Executive Director, CD Silicon Valley
Kate has been volunteering in the SF Bay Area since 2009 and was a founding member of both the Silicon Valley & One Brick Builds chapters. She currently holds the role of CD in Silicon Valley, as well as organising twice yearly volunteer rebuilding trips to New Orleans (pre-Covid). She joined One Brick Extended Board to coordinate One Brick's Volunteer Appreciation efforts from a national perspective and has now taken the role of Exec Director. Kate holds a BA in French, German and International Business and is currently a Senior Sales Manager in the environmental sector. Outside of volunteering Kate is a competitive Masters rower, enjoys good food, beer, hiking, travelling and following Bay Area sports teams. |

Graham Porell - Board Secretary, CD Boston, Partnerships & Social Development
Graham was a founding member of One Brick's Boston Chapter and has been on its Executive Team since its inception in the fall of 2011, and has played numerous roles, including serving as Chapter Director from 2015 to 2018. As part of One Brick's Extended board, Graham is responsible for assisting chapters with partnerships, social events, and leveraging data in chapter operations. He works for a State Agency that assists individuals with disabilities, and specializes in research, program evaluation, and data analysis. Graham has a MS in Urban Policy Analysis and Management from The New School, a BA in Social Science from Bennington College, and served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in South Africa from 2004 to 2005. Outside of volunteering he enjoys being outdoors, traveling, running, exploring new places, golf, and following Boston sports teams. |
Jeannette Roden - Director of Operations, CD Seattle
Jeannette began volunteering with One Brick in April 2010 and assumed the chapter director role in July 2011. As an IT consultant specializing in enterprise architecture and data management, she holds multiple IT certifications including CDMP, CBIP, MCDBA, MCSD, and MCSE. Jeannette also works part-time at the Wing Luke Museum of the Asian Pacific American Experience and is well-versed in non-profit operations and management. She has attended the University of Washington, Central Washington University, Edmonds College, and North Seattle College, earning multiple degrees and certificates in computer science, information technology, and business administration. Jeannette is a third-degree black belt and TKD instructor, tournament judge and center referee. |

Kara Nally - Legal Advisor, CD Chicago Kara began volunteering with One Brick Chicago more than a decade ago to give back, meet new people, and learn more about her (then) new city. She's passionate about community building and connecting people. Kara holds a BA in Political Science from Boston University and a JD from Gonzaga University. She is a founding member of the Associate Board for the Girl Scouts of Greater Chicago & Northwest Indiana and currently serves as its Director of Communications. She coaches for Girls on the Run and is a Dog Town lead volunteer for PAWS Chicago. When not at her day job or volunteering, you can find Kara hanging out with her dog, biking, obsessing over her favorite sports teams, checking out new restaurants or curled up with a book. |

Kegan Shepard - Website Guru
Kegan has been a part of the One Brick Seattle team since the official launch party at Mike's Chili Parlor in 2009! In addition to volunteering at many North Seattle events, Kegan helps to maintain and upgrade the One Brick website. Outside of One Brick, Kegan works at Microsoft coordinating responses to major service outages. Ask him about his side job with the NFL during Seahawks home games! During the summer, you can catch Kegan out on Lake Washington putting around in his bubble boat. |

Lindsay Pincus - Social Media Manager Lindsay started volunteering with One Brick in January 2020 and began helping with One Brick’s National and Seattle social media accounts/newsletters in 2023. She holds a BA in Journalism and Project Management from California State University, Chico and currently works as a contract project manager within the tech and restaurant industries. Outside of volunteering, Lindsay enjoys reading and writing, exploring Seattle events and restaurants with friends, spending time with family, attending concerts, and antiquing. |

Rich Frachey - Training
Rich, a retired Application Developer, has volunteered for over 480 events with One Brick since 2007 and has been an Event Manager with them since November 2015. He has a number of hobbies that include amateur woodworking, traveling, mountain hiking and volunteering. He's serves on the board of the Chinese American Museum of Chicago since January 2013 as Finance Chair and on the board of the XiLin Association since April 2018 as Secretary. Besides One Brick events, he regularly volunteers with Bolingbrook Church Food Pantry, Chicago Chinatown Chamber of Commerce, Uchicago Bolingbrook Hospital, Chinese American Service League, Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Multiple Sclerosis Foundation, Ram Racing, Ronald McDonald Charities, Meals on Wheels, Search Inc., Susan G. Komen, Japanese American Service Committee, Open House Chicago and special events for St. Jude Hospital.
Rich’s two newest volunteer roles have been with Ride Assist Naperville since May 2023 where he has driven 152 Seniors to their doctors’ appointments and with Gentiva Hospice care where he sits with an assigned person on Hospice care for socialization and companionship.
