Event Description:

This annual fundraiser for Harvest Against Hunger is a festive evening of fun, fellowship, fundraising, and wine tasting with folks who are passionate about reducing hunger and food waste while building healthier communities. During the program, guests will learn how hunger is affecting our community and the many ways HAH is making connections to get healthy produce to people in need.

What we'll be doing:

Volunteers will helping with check-in, selling drink tickets, assisting with the wine pull, recording Raise the Paddle bids, and other general event help at this wine tasting event. Please be flexible as volunteer needs may change throughout the evening.

What you should know:

Please note that volunteers must be 21+ for this event - bring your ID with you!

Parking: Parking is available in the Victory Hall parking lot behind the building. Enter the parking lot from Colorado Ave S.

Attire: Please wear black business casual or evening attire with shoes that you can comfortably stand & move around in.

Breakroom: Volunteers will be provided a private room for breaks and to store coats & small items (please keep valuables with you or leave them at home as this room will not be monitored throughout the evening).

Perks: Food will be provided for volunteers. HAH will also provide drink tokens for those who would like to sample wine towards the end of the event.

Harvest Against Hunger:

We make connections to help get surplus produce to hungry people. As both a 501 (c)(3) non-profit corporation and a program of Rotary District 5030, Harvest Against Hunger works with farmers, truckers, volunteers and others to bring valuable skills and resources into hunger relief efforts in communities across Washington state and beyond.
