Event Description:

A fundraiser like no other, this spectacular food fest features all you can eat bites from 30+ acclaimed chefs and restaurants. Guests enjoy dishes like Eventide's brown butter lobster rolls, Uni's inventive Japanese cuisine, Dumpling Daughter's pan-seared dumplings, and Capo's famous gelato - just to name a few. Tailgate raises critical funds for Spoonfuls’ food recovery and hunger relief mission.

What we'll be doing:

We need your help to provide an outstanding experience for our guests, chefs, and everyone involved, and to ensure Tailgate is a successful fundraiser for Spoonfuls. Volunteers assist with load-in, setup, check-in, fundraising activities, chef support, and clean up, with flexible hours ranging from approximately 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. 

What you should know:

Please dress casually with comfortable shoes. We would prefer black shirts if possible; no other branding.

Lovin' Spoonfuls:

Lovin’ Spoonfuls is dedicated to facilitating the rescue and distribution of healthy, fresh food that would otherwise be discarded. Lovin’ Spoonfuls works efficiently to deliver this food directly to the community organizations and resources where it can have the greatest impact. Lovin’ Spoonfuls is committed to addressing the health, environmental, and economic impact that food waste has on our community.

We pick up wholesome, fresh food that would otherwise be thrown away from grocery stores, produce wholesalers, farms and farmers markets, and distribute it to community non-profits that feed Greater Boston’s hungry.
