Event Description:
The Wing Luke Museum will be hosting JamFest on Thursday, July 17th, and would love your help with this music-packed event!
What we'll be doing:
Volunteers will be helping to greet visitors, answer questions about the event, assist with family-friendly activities, and cleaning up at the end of the event.
What you should know:
Food and drinks will be provided for volunteers. The Wing also provides volunteer benefits throughout the year, including reciprocal admission during National Volunteer Week and volunteer discounts at The Wing! Please note that the museum will need you to provide your email address in order to register for volunteer benefits. :)
Physical Requirements: Volunteers should be able to stand, walk, sit, and perform light lifting for this shift. If you have physical limitations, please let us know in the RSVP notes so that we can arrange for accommodations.
Getting Here: Please see this page for help with transportation and parking (at this time, the museum is unable to provide compensation for transportation costs).
Entrance: The entrance to the museum is located on S King St in between 7th Ave S and 8th Ave S (719 S King St).
Personal Items: Volunteers can bring coats & small personal items inside, but please keep valuables with you.
What to Wear: Dress code is casual, but please dress in layers in case of temperature fluctuations.
Family Friendly Volunteer Info: Let us know in the RSVP notes if you are bringing any volunteers under 18 (include their name & age).
Where to Meet:
Enter through the front door of the museum (located on S King St between 7th Ave S and 8th Ave S) and museum staff will direct you to volunteer check-in.
