Event Description:
Kirkland Uncorked is Washington's summer wine festival in scenic Marina Park in Kirkland. This weekend-long celebration of world-class Washington wineries is a benefit for the Motley Zoo Animal Rescue.
The festival is split into two parts: A 21+ Tasting Garden (featuring wine tasting, live music, and a Saturday Food Truck Feast) and an all-ages Street Fair (featuring the Uncorked Market and the CityDog Dog Modeling Contest).
What we'll be doing:
Wine Pouring Crew - Master the Perfect Pour... this includes double checking age verification, taking tasting tokens/marking tasting passes, and pouring a wide assortment of Washington wines. You will be in the heart of the action at Kirkland Uncorked!. Volunteers may be assigned to other tasks as needed.
What you should know:
Please note that volunteers must be 21+ for this event - bring your ID with you!
Detailed volunteer information will be provided the week of the event, but please provide your requested t-shirt size in the Notes section of your RSVP (or you can add your t-shirt size to your volunteer profile on the One Brick site).
Volunteers will receive an official Kirkland Uncorked volunteer t-shirt and complimentary admission after our volunteer shift is completed (please note that by law, you can't drink before your shift). Volunteer perks include (10) Tasting Tokens and a commemorative tasting glass... more than enough to enjoy wine, beer, or cocktails lakeside at Marina Park!
Where to Meet:
Volunteer Check-In will be located to the right of the main entrance to the Tasting Garden at Marina Park. Limited free parking is available for staff, vendors, and volunteers at the Kirkland Wester Parking Lot on 3rd Ave, next to City Hall (volunteer parking pass must be displayed).
