Event Description:

Arriba Juntos has 6 years of experience putting together this Christmas party “La Posada” which is completely free for community families and their children. They partner with Family Giving Tree, other organizations, businesses, volunteers and donors to provide toys to about 700-900 children. Over the years the number of children has continue growing. They provide a fun and safe space for children and their parents/care takers to enjoy music, games, raffles, food, piñatas, bounce houses, picture taking with Santa, face painting, balloon making and much more.

What we'll be doing:

Volunteers will be in the conference room (warehouse) looking for gifts when requested and delivering to the children. Volunteers may also help with set up (decorations, food tables, toys, etc), serve food and take care of children in the barnyard area.

What you should know:

Volunteers should dress comfortable to be working in a warehouse. Dressing up in Christmas themed attire or costume would be welcome but is not necessary.

Where to Meet:

Volunteers should meet in the Arriba Juntos parking lot. Carpooling or public transportation is highly recommended due to limited parking. Some parking may be available in the parking lot but it will be limited.

Arriba Juntos is a nonprofit employment and training agency that has served the community for more than 40 years. Their mission is to promote economic self-sufficiency for San Franciscans and their families. They provide various occupational trainings, offer employment assistance and referrals, and provide groceries in collaboration with the San Francisco Food Bank.
