Event Description:

Elizabeth McClintock started the Shakespeare garden by compiling a list of plants named in Shakespeare works. In the late 1980's Steve Silver from Beach Blanket Babylon donated funds for entry gate, promenade and stage. Now this historic and enchanting site needs a small group of volunteer to keep this garden beautiful.

One Brick will be removing debris piles, spreading chips and possibly some sheet mulching.

The San Francisco Recreation and Park Department administers more than 220 parks, playgrounds, and open spaces, including two outside the city limits-- Camp Mather in Yosemite Valley and Sharp Park in Pacifica, Calif. Included in the department’s responsibilities are the Marina Yacht Harbor, the San Francisco Zoo, and Lake Merced.
