Crescendo honors champions who support the LGBTQIA+ community and advance LGBTQIA+ equality through their commitment to change, their leadership and their actions. Join us on April 25th, 2026, at the iconic Westin St. Francis Hotel in Union Square for a night that promises to be both dazzling and impactful.
Experience this dazzling, sold-out extravaganza as a volunteer and help SFGMC staff make magic in support of vital programs that uplift voices across our community!

What we'll be doing:
One Brick volunteers may be asked to help with the following tasks:
- Decorate Tables
- Greet Guests
- Assist with Live Auction
- Other Tasks as they come up
What you should know:
There are various volunteer roles available in support of this event. No prior experience is required. Volunteers must be friendly, professional, and comfortable actively engaging with patrons.
No prior experience is required. If you plan to participate in the event as a PERFORMER or TICKETED PATRON, you may NOT sign up to also volunteer as the shift/duties overlap and will prevent your participation in any other capacity.
DRESS CODE: Cocktail attire. No jeans or t-shirts please. No revealing clothing. Please wear comfortable shoes.
DINNER: Both the Half Shift and Full Shift includes a volunteer meal. Please indicate your choice in the sign-up link above.
PLEASE NOTE: This volunteer shift does NOT include a comp ticket to or official seat at this event. Volunteers may be able to view the program while standing/assisting, to whatever extent their specific shift allows.

San Francisco Gay Men’s Chorus:

For over 40 years, the San Francisco Gay Men’s Chorus has courageously served as the international standard bearer for a powerful and accomplished mix of high-caliber performance, human rights, community activism, empowerment, and inclusiveness, establishing it as an icon among LGBTQIA+ organizations. Founded in 1978, it was the first organization of its kind and is credited with starting the LGBTQIA+ choral movement, galvanizing and changing the course of LGBTQIA+ history. It continues to rally and inspire other arts-based community organizations around the world, with its signature blend of humor, personality, and high-voltage performances.
