Event Description:

Upon confirmation of your attendance you will be credited with the actual hours of volunteer service helping to support the 2025 Support for Families Moonlight Gala.

What we'll be doing:

This is a formal event with a fun and sophisticated atmosphere, and raises critical support to empower families and ensure children with disabilities and complex medical needs can thrive. Volunteer responsibilities will vary from set-up, guest check-in, silent auction assistance and more, so please be prepared for anything! Cocktail or formal attire required for the evening.

Volunteer attendance will be confirmed with Bonnie and/or Megan of the Support for Families staff before your event hours will be posted.

You will be contacted directly by the non-profit Support for Families based on the time slot you signed up for.

Support for Families:

Formerly Support for Families of Children with Disabilities (SFCD)

Founded in 1982, Support for Families is a parent-run San Francisco-based nonprofit organization. They support families of children with any kind of disability or special healthcare need as they face challenges. Their purpose is to ensure that families of children with any kind of disability or special health care need have the knowledge and assistance they need to make informed choices that support their child's health, education and development. They provide peer support to families, and information and education to families, professionals and the community at large.
