Event Description:
Kirkland Uncorked is Washington's summer wine festival. Taking place August 27-29, 2021 in scenic Marina Park in Kirkland, this weekend-long celebration of world-class Washington wineries is a benefit for the Homeward Pet Adoption Center.
The festival is split into two parts: A 21+ Tasting Garden (featuring wine tasting, live music, and a Saturday Grill-Off) and an all-ages Street Fair (featuring the Uncorked Market, the CityDog Dog Modeling Contest, and a Saturday Food Truck Feast).
What we'll be doing:
Ticket Booth Crew - Assist guests as they arrive at Kirkland Uncorked, which may include setting up the ticket booth area, scanning advance tickets, and distributing programs, commemorative tasting glasses, and the correct number of tasting tokens. Volunteers may be assigned to other tasks as needed.
What you should know:
Please note that volunteers must be 21+ for this event - bring your ID with you! This is a 100% fully vaccinated event - bring your proof of vaccination with you!
Detailed volunteer information will be provided the week of the event, but please provide your requested t-shirt size in the Notes section of your RSVP (or you can add your t-shirt size to your volunteer profile on the One Brick site).
Volunteers will receive an official Kirkland Uncorked volunteer t-shirt and complimentary admission after our volunteer shift is completed (please note that by law, you can't drink before your shift). Volunteer perks include (10) Tasting Tokens and a commemorative tasting glass... more than enough to enjoy wine, beer, or cocktails lakeside at Marina Park!
