Event Description:

UPDATE FROM SEATTLE SCOTCH & BEER FEST 3/9/20: We are closely monitoring the COVID-19 situation in the region and are in regular contact with local health officials. As of today, we are planning to proceed with Seattle Scotch and Beer Fest on April 10 & 11.

Seattle Scotch & Beer Fest (formerly known as Hop Scotch Spring Beer & Scotch Festival) is the region's biggest spring beer festival combining craft beer, Scotch, spirits, and inventive cocktails, benefiting the Youth Experiential Training Institute (Y.E.T.I). On April 10th & 11th, Seattle Scotch & Beer Fest hosts the ultimate pop-up bar inside Fremont Studios, featuring authentic Scotch tasting, Tequila and Mezcal tasting, Whiskey seminars, craft cocktails, plus 50 seasonal and special release beers, ciders, and seltzers from brewers up and down the West Coast.

What we'll be doing:

Beer Pouring - Friendly and responsible volunteers are needed to take tokens and pour beer tastes for guests, since we'll be serving over 3,500 guests over the weekend! 14 spots available.

Spirit Sampling - Guests have the ability to purchase a Spirit Sampler for an expanded tasting experience. Volunteers will be serving guests a tasting flight & answering questions. 10 spots available.

What you should know:

Please note that volunteers must be 21+ for this event - bring your ID with you!

Detailed volunteer information will be provided the week before the event. but please provide the following information in the Notes section of your RSVP: (1) requested unisex t-shirt size, and (2) preference for Beer Pouring or Spirit Sampling (if any). Volunteers will be assigned to either a beer pouring or spirit sampling shift as they check in at the event. We'll try to accommodate your preference if possible, but your assignment request isn't guaranteed (will depend on areas of immediate need for on-site volunteers).

Volunteers will receive an official Seattle Scotch & Beer Fest volunteer t-shirt and complimentary Beer Admission (8 Beer Tokens + a Commemorative Tasting Glass) -or- a Spirit Flight Ticket (6 different samples, your choice of the Scotch Flight or the South of the Border Flight) after our volunteer shift is completed. Volunteers may also purchase a tasting glass, additional beer tokens, or a spirit flight ticket add-on if you can't decide. ;)

Where to Meet:

The Volunteer Check-In entrance has moved to N Canal St on the southwest corner of the Fremont Studios building (there is a sign located just to the left of the Fremont Studios main entrance on N 35th St that has a map of where volunteers should go). Look for our One Brick name tags!
