Event Description:

Help out with a variety of tasks at Zoo New England's special Princess Day event at the Stone Zoo in Stoneham! Princess Day is one of the most popular days at Stone Zoo! Last year we saw over 4,000 guests and volunteer help is needed to ensure the day runs smoothly. Guests will enjoy crafts, princess meet-and-greets, a DJ, and educational activities. The Boston City Nature Challenge will also be taking place this weekend, so guests will also be encourged to participate in citizen science. 

What we'll be doing:

One Brick volunteers may partake in various volunteer activities which may include: Running craft tables; monitoring lines and taking photos for princess meet-and-greets; handing out flyers and scavenger hunt prizes; assisting education at their table.

What you should know:

Please be sure to wear closed toed shoes and dress appropriately for the weather as you will be outside for the duration of the event.

Where to Meet:

Volunteers should meet at the Entrance of the Stone Zoo, 149 Pond Street in Stoneham. The Event Manager will contact all volunteers with more details as the event draws nearer.
