At first I was really nervous about the NOLA trip since I was traveling alone, and the closest thing to building/working on a home that I had experience with was changing a light bulb.  I knew the trip would force me out of my shell, and I also looked forward to learning a new skill or two.  I thought of past One Brick events and remembered how awesome all the volunteers and group dynamics were.  The people who sign up for these kinds of things are usually really cool and easy going people!  It was no surprise how well we all got along, and how 20 people shared two bathrooms so easily!
