Event Description:

Stern Grove is a unique city park. It contains a natural amphitheater resting about 100 feet below street level. Entering the concert area from any direction is enchanting. Festival events consistently attract a very diverse audience, which makes the day that much more exciting. The atmosphere is relaxed, friendly and fun. You get to enjoy world-class music in a beautiful outdoor setting.

What we'll be doing:

One Brick will greet Festival patrons, distribute programs, assist with the seating and collect donations. During the show, we'll get to enjoy the performance from reserved seating. Afterwards, we will assist with breakdown; please make sure you can stay and help out breakdown until 6 pm before you sign up; sign out will be mandatory at 6 pm (or upon released by Stern Grove volunteer coordinator).

What you should know:

This is San Francisco so please dress in layers. Bring A packed lunch, picnic, wine or other delectables to enjoy while watching the performances.

All drinks and beverages in coolers are for Stern Grove Members and VIPs only. Volunteers should not drink while on duty. One Brick will not be able to accommodate drop-in volunteers or volunteers' friends or family members for reserved seat

Stern Grove Festival Association:

Stern Grove Festival Association is a nonprofit organization committed to providing the people of the Bay Area with admission-free access to diverse performing arts. The association has presented the Stern Grove Festival in this beautiful outdoor amphitheater in San Francisco every year since 1938. It is funded entirely by charitable contributions from individuals, foundations, corporations and government sources. Each season includes a wide variety of traditional and contemporary styles from all over the world. Each concert attracts 8,000 - 10,000 people.
