Event Description:
A RainMan Indoor Triathlon offers a unique experience for beginners wanting to try a triathlon for the first time all the way to experienced triathletes who want to launch their triathlon season early or tune up their off season training. All athletes, volunteers and spectators are encouraged to come dressed in a 80s themed costume and ready for a day of fun and adventure!
What we'll be doing:
One Brick volunteers will be assisting with lap counting, moving bikes, preparing post-race food, and running the water/aid station.
What you should know:
Most of the positions are indoors, however the aid station is outside. Volunteers are encouraged to dress “warm†and rain gear just in case it decides to rain. TriFreaks will provide a volunteer shirt for each volunteer, and post-race food for volunteers as well.
Where to Meet:
Check in with the athlete registration.
TriFREAKS:
TriFREAKS is a small Pacific Northwest multi-sport race event company that began in 2004. They are headquartered in the Seattle area and are passionate about coordinating multi-sport events. They strive to continually improve the quality of their events, the participation and promotion of local businesses, and pride themselves in their ability to create a rewarding experience for all involved, racers and volunteers.
One of TriFREAKS' main mission is the utilization of each race as a means of donating back to the people in need in our communities. They do this by supporting a non-profit organization at each of their races.
