Event Description:
7 Large Gingerbread creations are on display at the Seattle Sheraton's hotel lobby from Nov 23- Jan 2nd. Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation is the beneficiary and receives cash and check donations in the on-site donation boxes.
November 26th is one of the busiest days for the Gingerbread Village- as soon as the Macy's Day parade is over, the crowds rush over to the Sheraton.
What we'll be doing:
Volunteers will be helping with crowd control while answering questions visitors may have (FAQ provided) and informing visitors that the donations will go to JDRF's mission to find a cure for diabetes. Volunteers will also be passing out free candy canes and helping visitors at the voting kiosks.
What you should know:
Please dress holiday casual. There is no parking at the Sheraton but City Center has parking across the street. Allow plenty of time for travel and finding a parking spot.
Where to Meet:
Please meet the One Brick Coordinator at the Christmas Tree in the Sheraton lobby.
