Event Description:

WFO invites clients to our boutiques where they spend an hour with trained volunteers who assist them in selecting professional, interview appropriate outfits and offering tips gleaned from hiring managers we work with. To support the number of clients served each month WFO collects hundreds of donated clothing items and process them for use in our showrooms. In addition to permanent donation drop off sites in San Francisco, Alameda and Contra Costa Counties we host a curbside donation drop off on the fourth Saturday of each month. People are invited to drive up and have their donations unloaded and receive a tax deductible receipt.

What we'll be doing:

Volunteers are needed to assist us collecting donations, sorting through the items to ensure their suitability and starting to prepare them for placement in the boutique.

We encourage volunteers to wear comfortable attire.

Where to Meet:

Since we are located on the second floor of a secured building, volunteers should look for our door between Happy Burrito Restaurant and Savanhna’s Place Sushi Restaurant. Following the instructions on the intercom volunteers should press 7 to be buzzed into the building. We will meet with volunteers and provide a brief orientation and tour of the facility before going back downstairs to collect donations.
