Event Description:

The 2025 San Francisco Marathon celebrates it's 48th year on the morning of Sunday, July 27th, and volunteers are needed to help out at the race expo distributing runner numbers and t-shirts alongside race staff.

In addition to RSVPing on the One Brick event listing, you must sign up at the official volunteer link.  The One Brick event manager will check availability, forward you the link and update this page often.  Currently as of 3-27-25 @ 6:30 pm 0 total spots remaining.

Friday, July 25th, is the first day of the expo and we're giving One Brick volunteer credit to those volunteers who have signed up to help.

What we'll be doing:

Assist with registration and distribution of shirts and bibs to race participants.

San Francisco Recreation & Parks Department:

The San Francisco Recreation and Park Department administers more than 220 parks, playgrounds, and open spaces, including two outside the city limits-- Camp Mather in Yosemite Valley and Sharp Park in Pacifica, Calif. Our park system includes 25 recreation centers, nine swimming pools, five golf courses and numerous tennis courts, ball diamonds, soccer fields and other sports venues. Included in the department’s responsibilities are the Marina Yacht Harbor, the San Francisco Zoo, and Lake Merced.

Our staff members are diverse, committed and talented recreation and park professionals, from gardeners, foresters, and recreation leaders to park patrol officers, custodians, electricians, painters, and more.
