Event Description:

The Western & Central Washington State Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association 6th Annual Tasteful Evening Chef and Wine Dinner on June 10, 2010 will be held at Bell Harbor International Conference Center in downtown Seattle. The event features 15 Seattle- area top chefs who prepare a unique tableside five-course dinner paired with local and regional wines. The event will also feature a silent wine auction and wine tasting during the Cocktail Reception.

What we'll be doing:

Volunteer shifts include: set up, lobby greeter, registration, raffle ticket sales, live auction spotters, live auction model, auction check out, silent auction runners and wine sellers.

What you should know:

Volunteer break time will vary for assigned shift, typically from 7-7:30pm and food and beverage is provided for break. Parking is available across the street at the Art Institute Parking Lot or on the street. Entrances to Bell Harbor are on Elliot & Wall. Both men and women should wear business attire in black and white. Men should wear black slacks and a white or black shirt. Women can wear the same or a black dress/ white blouse with black skirt.

Where to Meet:

All volunteers will meet in the main lobby of Bell Harbor.

The Western and Central Washington State Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association serves individuals living with Alzheimer's disease (and related dementias), their families, health care professionals and administrators, and the general public throughout a 23 county service area that runs from the Canadian to the Oregon borders.
