We’re proud to partner with GAPA (GLBTQ+ Asian Pacific Alliance) to celebrate their 38th anniversary! The night will bring vibrant entertainment, delicious flavors, and unforgettable performances showcasing the strength and beauty of our LGBTQ+ Asian Pacific community.
Join us as we ring in the Year of the Horse with the Bay’s best and brightest QTAPI (Queer and Transgender Asian and Pacific Islander) voices. Your ticket includes one drink ticket and access to an electrifying lineup of the Bay Area’s brightest QTAPI voices and performers, including GAPA’s chorus and dance groups, Mabuhay Bitches (San Francisco’s hottest drag and variety collective), the Bay Area’s premier API drag troupe Rice Rockettes, the spicy, sassy trio Masala Mahal, and more.
With thrilling performances, great drinks, and community at every turn, this three-hour celebration is the Lunar New Year party you don’t want to miss. Let's raise a glass, and celebrate together.
What we'll be doing:
Volunteers will assist with a variety of tasks. This may consist of:
- Front of House, including Ticket-Scanning
- Greeting and giving information to attendees
- Distributing Drink Tickets
- Crowd Control
- Cleanup and Light Breakdown
What you should know:
Business casual attire preferred.
Volunteers receive a drink ticket and can help themselves to the light bites as well as watch the performances once their early volunteer roles have completed.

For over 40 years, the San Francisco Gay Men’s Chorus has courageously served as the international standard bearer for a powerful and accomplished mix of high-caliber performance, human rights, community activism, empowerment, and inclusiveness, establishing it as an icon among LGBTQIA+ organizations. Founded in 1978, it was the first organization of its kind and is credited with starting the LGBTQIA+ choral movement, galvanizing and changing the course of LGBTQIA+ history. It continues to rally and inspire other arts-based community organizations around the world, with its signature blend of humor, personality, and high-voltage performances.
