Event Description:

Thank you for your interest in volunteering for this event.  Currently all roles offered to the public have been filled.

We're celebrating chili, football and community on Friday, February 6, from 5pm-8pm. The event is Game On! A Chili Tasting & Football Fan Celebration event. Five amateur's/home cook's chili recipes will be prepared by 5 local restaurants for people to taste and vote on their favorite. We are also offering a chili bowl meal and a hot dog meal. We are co-hosting this with the NFL Alumni Association of Northern CA. They will bring replica Super Bowl trophies for a photo opportunity at the photo booth. There will be a Hall of Legends highlighting 49ers and Raiders who've been inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame. There will be a sports memorabilia silent auction, and more fun things planned!

What we'll be doing:

Volunteers can take part by selecting the task of their choice on the OFFICIAL VOLUNTEER LINK (very limited availability).  Please note that some spots are reserved for specific groups only.  Do not sign up for those unless you belong to the groups stated on the link.

What you should know:

Most volunteers will receive the chili of their choice (while supplies last) to take home at the conclusion of their 3.5 hour shift.  Set up and decorating volunteers will receive both a chili tasting ticket and a meal ticket.

Where to Meet:

Meeting place will be forwarded directly from the nonprofit contact at Redwood City Parks and Arts Foundation.
