Event Description:
The historic flooding of December 2025 covered Food Bank Farm with ten feet of swiftly flowing water. The current carried tons of debris that destroyed several greenhouses and scattered thousands of items and equipment. The fence lines caught staggering amounts of plastic and fabric, which will need to go into dumpsters. Other items were carried off and will likely never be found.
Food Bank Farm grew 400,000 pounds of fresh nutritious produce in 2025 (double our usual average!) to feed the hungry in Western Washington.
