Get ready for a delightful celebration at Courthouse Square on July 4 when it will be transformed into a vibrant canvas by twenty-one professional chalk artists who will showcase their talents! This unique event offers a thrilling opportunity for visitors to immerse themselves in the artistry of chalk as Courthouse Square bursts into life with stunning chalk creations. Mark your calendars and join us for a day of celebration and creativity in downtown Redwood City!
2025 Theme: This year's event theme is "Celebrate California!" in honor of California's 175th anniversary of statehood.

Please note that Redwood City hosts an annual Independence Day Parade beginning at 10:00 am on Friday, July 4th. The parade route passes 1 block from the event site for Chalk Full of Fun. If you are volunteering for a morning shift, please plan accordingly.
What we'll be doing:
Volunteers will assist the annual Redwood City Chalk Full of Fun event in a role of their choosing by signing up on the link provided above.
Where to Meet:
Please note that One Brick event manager Wilhelm will only be on site Wednesday, July 2nd and Friday, July 4th, 2025. For shifts occuring on Thursday, July 3rd, we will work with our nonprofit partners at the Redwood City Parks and Art Foundation to confirm your attendance.
