Celebrate with us at our 32nd annual Hand to Hand Gala on Friday, November 22nd.

Partake in an evening of fun, food, and fundraising to celebrate our achievements, honor community members, and support Project Open Hand's vision for a healthier California through nutrition.

Get ready to sip champagne, raise your bid paddle, and party the night away!

Project Open Hand:

Meeting community nutrition needs through programs for people living with HIV/AIDS, the homebound critically ill, and seniors. Project Open Hand provides meals/groceries for people with symptomatic HIV/AIDS or breast cancer, meals for homebound/critically ill people under the age of 60 and congregate lunches for people over 60 years of age. Services are available to eligible clients living in San Francisco and Alameda counties, regardless of their race, color, national origin, age, gender, sexual orientation, religious affiliation, disability or ability to pay.

Today, Project Open Hand prepares 2,500 nutritious meals daily and provides 200 bags of healthy groceries every day to help sustain our clients as they battle serious illnesses, isolation, or the health challenges of aging. We serve San Francisco and Oakland, engaging more than 125 volunteers daily to nourish our community.
