Event Description:
Rainier Beach Harvest Fest Takeover Boo Bash is hosted at Rainier Beach Community Center where the space is transformed into a trick-or-treater’s wonderland, hosting dozens of marketplace and resource vendor booths filled with city, county, and state agencies, various schools, non-profit & faith-based organizations, community groups, and local merchants. We serve thousands of kids and families for a friendly, fun, safe and resourceful trick-or-treat experience. Kids can trick or treat for surprises and sweets & treats, plus there will be children activities, entertainment, and lots of fun!
What we'll be doing:
Volunteer jobs will vary, but may include the following areas. Thanks for your flexibility during this fun event!
- Setup & Tear Down
- Registration/Information Booth
- Mascots
- Entertainment
- Arts & Craft (activities for kids)
- Beach Fresh “Food”
- Public Safety (traffic and crowd management)
What you should know:
Volunteers are welcome to come dressed for the occasion! Comfortable clothing & shoes that you can move around in are recommended. Please remember the safety of our community and abide by COVID-19 restrictions. If you're sick, please let your Event Manager know and stay home, get better, and continue to keep our community safe!
