Event Description:
Get ready for a night where the bingo is lively, the drinks are flowing, and every daub makes a difference. Seattle’s Gay Bingo benefiting Lifelong is back at Fremont Studios on Friday, June 13th!
Raise your dauber, raise a glass, and raise some funds to support our neighbors in need. It’s Seattle’s OG Gay Bingo, so make sure you don’t miss it!
What we'll be doing:
Volunteers will be helping with bingo festivities, but mostly on the Queen for a Day (QFAD) Waiters team and the Mobile Special Games Sales team! Both roles will also have supporting roles during Lifelong's fundraising ask (and the process has been updated so that guests can contribute in multiple ways & don't have to wait for an iPad to make a donation). Volunteers may be reassigned to the area of greatest need... thanks for your flexibility!
What you should know:
Please note that volunteers must be 21+ for this event - bring your ID with you!
Parking and Entrance: There is free on-street parking nearby (plus paid parking lots). You can enter Fremont Studios through the main entrance on N 35th Street.
Food and Drink: Snacks & soft drinks will be available for volunteers in the Volunteer Reception Area behind the stage (volunteers can also store bags or purses here). Volunteer Leads in your section will rotate people out for breaks during the event, and you'll receive a voucher to get a meal or snack option from Lifelong's catering vendor.
Volunteers are not allowed to drink alcohol during this event, but can get a drink ticket at the end of our shift (and can purchase addtional food items or additional alcoholic beverages from the catering team once our shift is over).
What to Wear: Lifelong will have "Health for All" t-shirts for volunteers to wear, but feel free to pair it with whatever you'll be comfortable in or your favorite disco or Pride accessories! Please wear comfortable shoes since most of the roles require standing and/or walking throughout the venue.
Where to Meet:
Meet inside the front entrance, located on N 35th Street... look for our One Brick name tags to sign in & receive your volunteer assignment!
