Event Description:

If you’ve ever wanted to sing with the San Francisco Gay Men’s Chorus - this is your chance! These family-friendly sing-alongs that share music themes with the concerts they precede are meant for all to enjoy. We’ve seen firsthand in the Chorus the way that music encourages community, wellness, and joy. We want to extend these benefits to our entire family in our newly remodeled home at 170 Valencia.

What we'll be doing:

Volunteers will assist with a variety of tasks.  This may consist of:

  • Front of House, including Ticket-Taking
  • Ushering
  • Crowd Control
  • Line Management
  • Program Dissemination
  • Will Call
  • Merchandise Sales

What you should know:

Proof of vaccination for COVID-19 is NOT required at this time.

Business casual attire recommended

Volunteers may choose to watch the show FREE OF CHARGE in open seating and/or STANDING ROOM ONLY if sold out.

For over 40 years, the San Francisco Gay Men’s Chorus has courageously served as the international standard bearer for a powerful and accomplished mix of high-caliber performance, human rights, community activism, empowerment, and inclusiveness, establishing it as an icon among LGBTQIA+ organizations. Founded in 1978, it was the first organization of its kind and is credited with starting the LGBTQIA+ choral movement, galvanizing and changing the course of LGBTQIA+ history. It continues to rally and inspire other arts-based community organizations around the world, with its signature blend of humor, personality, and high-voltage performances.
