Event Description:

Run Scared 5K is a family-friendly Halloween run in Seattle's gorgeous Seward Park. It includes an epic costume contest, pre-race scavenger hunt, candy at the halfway mark, pumpkin bread and a candy corn tasting bar, photo booth with props, and a free kids dash. This event benefits the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.

What we'll be doing:

Volunteers will be handing out water on the course, and water & food at the finish line.

What you should know:

Run for Good will be providing a free race shirt for all volunteers, plus free pumpkin bread, hot apple cider, and candy, lots & lots of candy! Volunteers are also encouraged to wear a costume (which means that you'd be eligible for the costume contest too).

Where to Meet:

UPDATED: Meet at the parking lot next to Shelter 5 instead of at the volunteer check-in area in the north field of Seward Park, next to the pottery studio (see instructions in email). Look for our One Brick name tags!

Run For Good Racing Company provides fun and unique running races with a focus on charitable giving and believe that all running and walking races should benefit a local non-profit. There is a strong tradition of fundraising and running and we continue that tradition, in our professional races. We are a local Seattle company specializing in running in the Pacific Northwest.
