Event Description:

HALLOWEEN AT THE RANDALL MUSEUM is a great place in the Bay Area for young children to celebrate Halloween. Hundreds of young people come in costume. The entire museum is filled with low cost activities that include "ghoulish" games, "creepy" crafts, trick-or-treating, pumpkin carving, the "twilight" forest, live music and more. Halloween is one of Randall Museum's annual free family event days (including Crafts Day and Bug Day) that creatively engages people of all ages. This event is fun, accessible and promotes both a sense of community and a chance of quality interactions among family members.

Randall Museum Friends:

One of San Francisco's hidden treasures, the Randall Museum is the premier place where all age groups can participate in an integrated program of arts and sciences dedicated to the culture and environment of the Bay Area. It offers experiential education through interactive exhibits, classes, drop-in activities, special events, and school field trips atop beautiful Corona Heights. We also have over fifty different species of wild California animals and one of the largest model railroads in Northern California. The Randall Museum is owned and operated by the San Francisco Recreation and Park Department. Established in 1954, Randall Museum Friends is a non-profit organization that raises additional funds to support the museum's operations, programming and facilities, and provide strategic support and advocacy.
