Event Description:

The Wender Weis Foundation for Children is an organization dedicated to helping kids build self-esteem and self-confidence is hosting its annual Holiday Heroes event. Holiday Heroes strives to connect at-risk children with professional athletes with the goal of providing the recipient children with hope & direction.

We will turn Oracle Park into a holiday wonderland for families and underserved children to enjoy a night of fun with celebrity athletes, team mascots and activity stations (cookie decorating, snow globes, just to name a few). We are expecting approximately 800 people to attend this fun-filled evening.

What we'll be doing:

Volunteers are needed to help set up the event.  Tasks will include:

• Set up tables
• Meet and check in
• Welcoming and directing vendors
• Helping vendors load in if necessary 
• Set up Bear Mill and cookie decorating stations
• Wayfinders
• Placing signage
• More

What you should know:

This will be a masked event, with proof of COVID-19 vaccination required.  You will be asked for photo ID and proof of vaccination at the time you enter the venue.

Attire is warm and comfortable as you will be volunteering outdoors.

Please bring as little as possible as all volunteers will need to go thru the metal detectors and be processed by security at Oracle Park. Treat this as a game day event - no backpacks or large bags allowed. There will be a volunteer room but it may not be secured.

Parking for volunteers is included and a parking pass will be emailed to you by the event producers.

Where to Meet:

Entry information will be emailed to volunteers.

Entry will be at the entrance at 2nd & King Streets. Registered volunteers will need to check in there and show proof of COVID-19 vaccination.
