Event Description:
Longfellow Elementary's Spring Carnival is the last fundraiser of the school year. Proceeds raised from the carnival helps purchase school supplies for the following school year. This is a community event that unites about 250 to 300 people on the school campus.
What we'll be doing:
Volunteers will help out at a number of stations including:
- Carnival Games
- Food Sales
- Popcorn Machine
- Silent Auction
- Clean Up
- BBQ
What you should know:
Dress in layers as the event is outdoors, and wear comfortable shoes as you may be on your feet throughout the event.
Street parking only.

Volunteer Table at Lowell Street Entrance Gate (Entrance to Carnival).
Longfellow Elementary School:
Longfellow Elementary School is the second oldest school in San Francisco and currently accommodates approximately 510 students. The school is located in the outer Mission and 78% of the student population come from low income families. The school is a TITLE I school and relies heavily on donations and fundraisers.
