Event Description:

Come out for a fun night of volunteering at an event to raise money for the Chron's & Colitis Foundation!

All proceeds from the event go to benefit the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation’s mission to find a cure for the disease and provide education and support for patients.

What we'll be doing:

We will be helping with guest check-in, set up, live auction spotting, Live Auction recording, raffle ticket sales, checkout, and other things that need done. 

What you should know:

Please wear cocktail attire (dresses, nice slacks, no jeans), with comfortable shoes, you’ll be on your feed most of the evening. There will be some snacks and sandwitches available for volunteers.

Where to Meet:

We will meet at the Ritz Carlton San Francisco (600 Stockton Street, San Francisco)  at the Ballroom on the 1st Floor – Note: you have to go down from the entrance to get to the Ballroom. I highly recommend taking public transportation since parking is very expensive in the area. The Ritz Carlton is just a few blocks Northwest of the Montgomery St. BART/MUNI station. Please allow adequate time in your travel for the walk to the hotel so you arrive on time. 

Crohn's and Colitis Foundation Northern CA:

The Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of America is a nonprofit, volunteer-driven organization dedicated to finding the cure for Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis. The foundation was founded in 1967. Four decades ago, CCFA created the field of inflammatory bowel disease research. Today, the foundation funds cutting-edge studies at major medical institutions, nurtures investigators at the early stages of their careers, and finances underdeveloped areas of research. Educational workshops and symposia, together with their scientific journal enable medical professionals to keep pace with this rapidly growing field.
