Event Description:

Jean Parker Elementary School is having an Asian Street Market fundraiser at SoMa StrEat Food Park. Funds raised will help support the school’s P.E. and dance programs. The event will feature Asian food trucks and live entertainment.

Jean Parker Elementary School's goal is to educate the whole child through our supportive and nurturing learning environment. The Parent Teacher Organization of the school exists to facilitate communication between parents and staff and to raise money for enrichment programs and school needs insufficiently funded by local, state and federal sources.

What we'll be doing:

Selling tickets and check in ticket holders
Acting as door staff, ensuring that outside food and beverage does not enter the venue as well as checking for hand stamps/wristbands
Sell/assist with raffle tickets
Bus tables and act as an extra set of eyes, spotting and reporting safety hazards, restrooms in need of maintenance, full trash cans, etc.

What you should know:

Dress for comfort and in layers for SF weather. Sunglasses and hats are suggested for comfort.

Front entrance to SOMA Streat Food Park (428 11th Street)

Some bus lines that run near the venue include the #9, 12, and 47. Public transportation is always encouraged. Paid parking options nearby include SOMA Hub Garage 255 12th Street ($5 for 2 hours; $5 each additional hour), and 1401 Folsom Street ($15 all day).
