Event Description:
For one spectacular day each year, The Sustainable Business Network (SNB) transforms the Rose Kennedy Greenway and the City of Boston into the nation's largest local & sustainable food hub! Boston Local Food Festival is a free outdoor festival that showcases farmers, local restaurants, food trucks, specialty food producers, fisher folks, and organizations focusing on healthy food and fitness from New England. Massachusetts eaters of all ages, races, and socioeconomic levels will see, taste, and appreciate the variety of healthy, delicious food choices that local specialty crops and products make available to them in their own back yard. The festival also features lively chef & DIY demos, a seafood throwdown competition, diverse music and performances, family fun zone and more!
What we'll be doing:
Volunteers will assist in assorted tasks such as set up in conjunction with the various vendors, assist visitors at the information booth, and the various projects onsite. Some volunteers may also be assigned to assist with the Family Fun Zone.

This is an outdoor activity- please dress accordingly.
Where to Meet:
Volunteers should meet at the corner of John F. Fitzgerald Expressway and India Street on the Rose Kennedy Greenway Boston, MA and check in at the booth with Kaitlyn and Abbie. Upon arrival, volunteers should check in with the One Brick Event Manager.
