Event Description:

Have you ever wanted to be able to interact with those that you are helping out via volunteerism? If so, this is your chance! One Brick will be serving lunch at DRMM.

One Brick Detroit will be prepping and serving lunch to the many men that come to DRMM-CGC for a warm meal and help in hard times. DRMM provides several different types of help for men: permanent, transitional, and emergency housing, for reasons from chronic drug use and mental illness to homelessness and transitional needs. By volunteering our valuable time to DRMM-CGC, many men will receive nourishment and an afternoon of genuine kindness. Be sure to bring your smile with you.

What we'll be doing:

Volunteers will assist the kitchen staff with prep work, serving the meal, and clean-up.

What you should know:

Wear conservative and comfortable clothing and close toed shoes. No shorts or skirts.
