Event Description:

Ovations Food Services has generously offered duel fundraisers for this date!

• One Brick relies on events like these the bring in funds to cover our basic overhead and keep us running. This nationwide volunteer group of 11 Chapters really needs your support on events like these!!!
• This event is a dual fundraising event that also benefits the Baysox Read & Hit A Home Run reading program inspiring elementary and middle school children to read!

*We need more volunteers than our typical events! If you can convince a friend or 2 to register/RSVP and attend we would greatly appreciate it*

What we'll be doing:

We will be running a full concession stand including inventory, grilling/frying, register assignments, cash handling, food prep, and closing! All volunteers must be 21 years of age and will have alcohol training on site! The game starts at 6:30!! We need to be there by 4 to set up and prep. Whoo hoo!

What you should know:

Its a good idea to eat prior to arrival, we expect to be very busy. Food is available for purchase on site. Volunteers will be provided with food/drink after they finish working. NO outside food is allowed in the park. Please follow up with the event manager about any medical concerns.

Attire: Black or Navy plain pants or shorts and BLACK T-shirts! SHORTS must be length appropriate

Please AVOID the following attire:

• Jeans, cut offs, short shorts, cheer shorts
• Commercial logos or racing stripes
• Open-toed shoes, crocs, flip flops, high heels, clogs
• Personal hats. (You may bring a personal hat if it is ORANGE) otherwise we will provide one for you.

Stadium parking is free on site!

Parking for volunteers is located in the employee parking lot, to the LEFT of the stadium.

Where to Meet:

All volunteers must enter through the ORANGE doors to the LEFT of the front gate and sign in on "Ovation Catering" master sign in sheet.

After signing in you will make a LEFT on the concourse and head down to the 3rd base concession stand.

:) Don't worry we will have someone there to meet you, help you sign in and give you directions!

One Brick - DC:

One Brick is a 501(c)3 nonprofit volunteer organization that brings volunteers together to support other local nonprofit organizations. One Brick has adopted an innovative twist to the volunteer experience: we create a friendly and social atmosphere around volunteering. After each volunteer event - which typically lasts only 3 to 4 hours - we invite volunteers to gather at a local restaurant or cafe where they can get to know one another in a relaxed social setting. Through our volunteer projects, we provide nonprofits with the much-needed labor to carry out their visions. At the same time we foster an environment in which our volunteers can meet new people, both socially and professionally.
