Event Description:

Ovations Food Services has generously offered duel fundraisers for this date!

• One Brick relies on events like these the bring in funds to cover our website cost, insurance, a few employees, etc. This nationwide volunteer group of 11 Chapters really needs your support on events like these!!!
• This event also benefits the Read & Hit A Home Run reading program inspiring elementary and middle school children to read!

What we'll be doing:

We will be running a full concession stand including inventory, grilling/frying, regsiter assigments, cash handling, food prep, and closing! All volunteers must be 21 years of age and will have alcohol training on site! The game starts at 6:30!! Whoo hoo!

What you should know:

Please eat prior to arrival! Breaks will be allowed and food is available for purchase on site! Volunteers will be provided with food/drink after they finish working! NO outside food is allowed in the park. Please follow up with the event manager about any medical concerns.

Attire: Jeans and orange T-shirts!

Please AVOID the following attire:

• Jeans, cut offs, short shorts, cheer shorts
• Commercial logos or racing stripes
• Open-toed shoes, crocs, flip flops, high heels, clogs
• Personal hats

One Brick - DC:

One Brick is a 501(c)3 nonprofit volunteer organization that brings volunteers together to support other local nonprofit organizations. One Brick has adopted an innovative twist to the volunteer experience: we create a friendly and social atmosphere around volunteering. After each volunteer event - which typically lasts only 3 to 4 hours - we invite volunteers to gather at a local restaurant or cafe where they can get to know one another in a relaxed social setting. Through our volunteer projects, we provide nonprofits with the much-needed labor to carry out their visions.
