Event Description:
Farrington Nature Linc’s mission is to enhance the well-being of children from low-income communities through a connection with the natural world. Our 75 acres of woodlands, fields and ponds near Boston are dedicated to providing respite and inspiration for children who might not otherwise have this opportunity. After a successful summer season with over 1,000 youth attending programs at Farrington Nature Linc, it is time to put the garden to bed for the winter.
What we'll be doing:
Volunteers will be doing basic gardening work, including, but not limiting to pulling out plants, pruning bushes, mulching, removing some garden hardware, mowing, etc. Garden gloves will be provided, but feel free to bring your own if you have them.
