Event Description:
The Walk program is JDRF’s flagship fundraising endeavor, raising over $95 million nationally last year through the support of over 500,000 participants. Locally, the Walk to Cure Diabetes serves as the New York Chapter’s most influential community building and educational program reaching over 12,000 individuals in the five boroughs. The Walks build important ties in the diabetes community and educate New Yorkers regarding diabetes management, while generating a significant portion of the Chapter’s annual revenue.
