Event Description:

Our City Forest's nursery is where we house all of our trees before they are planted in San Jose.

One Brick will help with irrigation, repotting, pruning, weeding, early tree care and tree stake/tool maintenance, all in preparation for upcoming plantings!

Please meet at the new Our City Forest Nursery @ 1000 Spring St.

All volunteers should wear close-toed shoes, clothes you don’t mind getting dirty, bring drinking water, and be prepared with sun/rain protection. Some heavy lifting may be required. We also recommend you bring gardening gloves if you have them, though not required. Please remember we work rain or shine!

Our City Forest:

Our City Forest is a non-profit organization that provides trees to San Jose residents. Since 1994, more than 50,000 trees have taken root and made our city a more beautiful, healthy place to live. The mission of Our City Forest is to cultivate a greener, healthier urban environment and a renewed sense of community by involving Silicon Valley residents in the understanding, planting and care of the urban forest.
