Event Description:

The East Bay Children's Book Project is celebrating their 5th anniversary, the 400,000 books already given away, the 100,000 books donated by Half Price Books, and our first year at our new location.

What we'll be doing:

One Brick will be counting, sorting and bagging books and decorating the center and preparing food for the celebration.

What you should know:

Volunteers are welcome to stay and help with/partake of the celebration itself at the end of their shift.

Where to Meet:

Please meet in the basement of the Rec Center.

East Bay Children's Book Project:

The East Bay Childrens Book Project was founded to help improve literacy by providing free books to children who have little or no access to them. Since opening in 2005, we have given away almost 400,000 books.
