Event Description:

The Friends holds two major book sales every year, in Spring and Fall. At each sale, over 200,000 books and other items are offered to the general public. Proceeds go to benefit The Seattle Public Library.

What we'll be doing:

We will restock tables before the sale opens. During the sale, we will count items at the cashier, monitor exits and entrances, and restock tables with books, CDs and DVDs.

What you should know:

Refreshments will be provided.

Where to Meet:

Meet at Magnuson Park, Hangar in Building #30, 7400 Sand Point Way NE, Seattle, 98115.

The park may be reached by Metro bus routes 30, 74, and 75. Free parking is available.

Friends of the Seattle Public Library:

The Friends of the Seattle Public Library is a non-profit, grassroots organization dedicated to promoting our Library as an essential institution of our society. Our volunteer members advocate, educate, and raise funds on behalf of the Library, its patrons, and the larger Seattle community.
