Event Description:

What a nice way to wind down from the hard workday! We will be working in either the Medical Clinic or Food Pantry for Bread for the City. In the medical clinic, we assist with the filing and organizing of clients' medical records. In the food pantry, we will pack bags of groceries to be distributed to clients during business hours.

Bread for the City:

The mission of Bread for the City is to provide vulnerable residents of Washington, DC, with comprehensive services, including food, clothing, medical care, and legal and social services, in an atmosphere of dignity and respect. We recognize that all people share a common humanity, and that all are responsible to themselves and to society as a whole. With the help of many dedicated volunteers, Bread for the City serves over 10,000 each month!
