Event Description:

Spread holiday cheer! As part of the traditions held at GHBC every year during the month of December, residents and volunteers will decorate their floors and Christmas Tree. This is a fun event where both volunteers and residents get to interact and help each other. For this specific event we will concentrate in only two floors. The first floor will be the Health care Center and memory support unit and the other floor will be the Assisted Living Floor.

Volunteers will put up the trees and handle most of the decorations, they will invite residents to take part of this activity according to the residents phisical capability they will either work together, follow directions or ask involve residents by asking their opinion about the decorations.

Goodwin House Bailey's Crossroads:

GHBC is a non-profit continuing care retirement community, which offers assisted living and health care. Their aim is to ensure older adults live with dignity and receive committed care to enable them to maintain their independence.
