Event Description:

One Brick will help out with spring cleaning at Bay Worms in Alameda. We'll build and paint boxes to fill with dirt for organic composting.

Bay Worms:

Bay Worms believes that healthy soil, air and water belongs to the whole of humanity. Using vermicomposting technology, their herd of red worms (Eisenia foetida) turns vegetable and food waste into one of the best organic fertilizers around: worm castings. They use the proceeds from sales of worm castings, compost and other products, to promote home composting and generate a steady income to fund our an organic garden.
