Event Description:

We'll be staffing the Merit School of Music's annual Performathon Fundraiser. This is their annual event showcasing their top talent from the tuition-free conservatory. We will serve as ushers during their on-going musical performances (19 hours total!) and help with concessions and other event logistics.

Merit School of Music:

Merit School of Music was founded in 1979 to provide high quality classical and jazz music instruction for youth in the Chicago metropolitan area. Its primary goals are to help young people achieve their full musical potential, to remove economic barriers to participation, and to stimulate personal and educational growth through music. Merit offers a continuum of music classes for free, or at a low fee, to more than 5,000 children each year from 18 months to 18 years of age.
