Event Description:

This is one of Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's biggest events! It is a walk-a-thon called Light the Night Walk. People raise funds and then walk 2 - 3 miles carrying lighted balloons. Help prepare the lighted-balloons and get one step closer to stopping blood-related cancers!

Leukemia & Lymphoma Society:

The mission of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society is to cure blood-related cancers and improve the quality of life of patients and their families. The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society is the world's largest voluntary health organization dedicated to funding blood cancer research, education and patient services. The Society's mission is to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma, and to improve the quality of life of patients and their families. Since its founding in 1949, the Society has provided more than $358 million for research specifically targeting blood cancers.
