Event Description:

Through community support, the San Mateo County Parks and Recreation Foundation raises funds for projects that enhance the visitor's experience or preserve the native habitats in San Mateo County Parks. Projects range from accessible playgrounds made from recycled materials to restoration of endangered species habitat. The Tour de Peninsula bike ride is the San Mateo County Parks and Recreation Foundation's main fund raising event. One Brick will be manning the 2A and 2B waterstops for the Tour de Peninsula. This is a fun event despite the early hour. We are the cyclists' water stop (and last year biscotti) at the top of a very grueling hill. Everybody is out having a good time so the general spirit is lively and fun. Have you ever tried giving a moving target a paper cup full of water? Come out and try for yourself what fun this target practice can be!
