Event Description:
Mountain View is home to one of the largest and oldest Art & Wine festivals in California. Presented by the Chamber of Commerce, this multicultural celebration is a sampler for the senses with 350 artists, several local restaurants and nonprofit groups dishing up flavorful world cuisine, premium wines and microbrews, a diverse range of continuous music and Kids' Park featuring games and activities for children of all ages.
What we'll be doing:
One Brick volunteers will be assisting at beer booth 2 and wine booth 2.
What you should know:
Wear sunscreen, hat, and comfortable shoes as you will on your feet the whole shift. Volunteer T-shirts and a commemorative glass will be provided to you at check-in. You must wear the t-shirt during your shift. Both items are yours to keep after the event. Please bring a refillable water bottle as bottled water will no longer be provided. Please wear any One Brick merchandise you have (hat, shades, lanyard). This gives us a chance to promote One Brick.
State law requires that anyone pouring alcohol must be at least 21 years old. All volunteers under 21 may sell tickets and glasses for wine and beer or work our LMV Booths. Please bring state issued ID on the day of event. To ensure the festival is legally compliant, we or your One Brick event manager must visually check the ID of each volunteer before they report to an alcohol booth. Thank you for understanding.
Please provide your T-shirt size and preference of beer or wine glass when you RSVP - Size Large and a beer glass will be ordered for anyone who has not provided this information on their One Brick RSVP.
Where to Meet:
Please go directly to Beer and Wine Booths #2. Your One Brick Event Manager will email you this information once it has been confirmed by the organizing Mountain View Chamber of Commerce.
